In 2010 after 16 years the Rototom Sunsplash had to move from Italy to Benicàssim, Spain. Babylon story. Nevertheless last year’s edition has been a great success with 150.000 Visitors in eight days. That’s why the people behind decided to go back to the original ten day format, which means more music, more good vibes, more of everything.
The Marley edition
Rototom Sunsplash 2011 is dedicated to Bob Marley, to commemorate the greatest Reggae legend that inspired the values of the festival. Therefor Rita Marley, Ziggy Marley and Kymani Marley will enter the main stage at the 23rd of august. Stephen Marley will be there as well. Besides world famous reggae collector Roger Steffens will show a multimedia presentation about „The Life Of Bob Marley“ at the Reggae University.
